We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email address, and organization name. We also collect EIN numbers and chapter data you upload, and usage information generated as you interact with the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the ExemptWatch service, send filing deadline alerts and reminders, process subscription billing through Stripe, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. IRS Data

ExemptWatch retrieves publicly available data from IRS sources including the EO Business Master File and the Auto-Revocation List. This data is used solely to monitor filing compliance for the chapters and organizations you have registered in the service.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate ExemptWatch, including Stripe for payment processing and Brevo for transactional email delivery. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and may not use your data for other purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@exemptwatch.com.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure credential storage. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
